Paypal to e-gold

One of the most popular searches on the leading search engines like Google, Yahoo Search and Windows Live Search when it comes to e-currency searches is “paypal to e-gold” or “paypal e-gold”. This betrays a deep drive amongst e-gold users to convert their paypal funds to e-gold, or that some scammers/hackers who have managed to take-over someone’s e-gold account, are eager to convert it to anonymous e-gold.
But then, is it really possible to convert paypal to e-gold? Read on…
Well, the truth is, paypal frowns at this type of transaction. The same thing applies to moneybookers. They do not want users to convert funds from their system to e-gold - at least, not directly.
Another reason is that, since Paypal can be funded with credit cards (or major debit cards), scammers take advantage of that to use stolen credit cards to buy e-gold. When the real owner of the credit card charges-back, the e-gold merchant suffers because the paypal funds will be reversed whereas, e-gold cannot be reversed. Thus, the anonymous scammer wins. It is thus very risky for any e-gold exchanger to accept paypal, and pay out e-gold.
